March Schedule of Events
Hello Substack! Thank you so much for your support of my Substack in its first month. I have been thrilled by the response and excitement from all of you. I have added and rearranged the March schedule about 5 times because there are so many things I want to chat about. You all have been giving me such good suggestions and requests of things you want to hear so please keep that coming (I’ve heard you loud and clear that you want my What a Gem thread lists, so stay tuned for a few of those in April)!
Wednesday March 11th LIVE: What’s In My Tool Bag 7:30pm CST I was originally planning this post for a later date, but I recently went on an absolutely obsessive search for this tool bag after my friend Betsy purchased it. I cannot wait to tell you this ridiculous story, show you how amazing this bag is, and rave about all of the goodies in it. I went from three separate tool bags to one!
Tuesday March 17th LIVE: How I Read a Canvas 7:30pm CST This is far and away what you guys want to chat about most. I will walk you through a few canvases that I have kitted and stitched to show you how I think about each element. This month I will be chatting about a Kirk and Bradley poison bottle, a giant roll up nutcracker and a two sided bunny. Feel free to come and ask questions about canvases you are stitching and we can “read” them together.
Wednesday March 25th LIVE: Stitch Clinic 7:30pm CST Join a live zoom to get stitch help, a thread suggestion, talk through how to kit your canvases or chat about any other stitching problem or issue you might be having. Think of this as a virtual Beyond Basketweave.
Tuesday March 31st: Stitch Guide Drop This month’s stitch guide will be the Troop NDLPT canvas from C’ate La Vie. I turned mine into a scissor case but this would make an adorable bag tag, patch or ornament as well!
